Join the senior center as we head down south to Savannah, Jekyll Island and Beaufort, S.C. This is a 7 day/6 night trip with 4 consecutive nights in the Savannah area and includes 6 breakfasts and 4 dinners. We will have a guided trolley tour of Savannah, a guided tram tour of Jekyll Island, a tour of St. Simons Island and Beaufort. Some sights we will see along our way are of the 18th century “ballast stone” streets, the Parris Island Marine base, Iwo Jima Monument, the Cannonball House and Museum, and so much more! In order to visit the Parris Island Marine Base, everyone on the bus will need a “Real-ID” for entry to the island. If you do not have a Real-ID then your state photo ID and a second form of identification (passport, social security card, or birth certificate) will need to be provided for entry on to the base. Also when signing up for this trip please provide legal first and last name, birth-date, drivers license or state ID number. Don’t delay in signing up, this trip will fill up quickly, call the senior center at 468-3366. A $75.00 deposit is due at time of sign up and the final payment is due by 11/20/2026.
