AARP Smart Driver Course

Refresh your driving skills and stay safe on the road by joining the AARP Smart Driver Course at the senior center. This informative class covers important topics including the effects of medications on driving, ways to reduce distractions behind the wheel, proper use of newer vehicle technology, techniques for safely handling left turns, right-of-way situations, and roundabouts. You’ll also learn about age-related physical changes that can affect driving and practical ways to adjust your driving habits to stay safe and confident.

Upon successful completion of the course, you may be eligible for a multi-year discount on your auto insurance. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Payment will be due at time of class.
